GO CATS!......was a slightly anxious game to watch   :P
My boys were at the MCG, so had to pick them up at midnight at the station.....DS is still asleep.
Dropped hubby at 8 am to a Grand final breakfast, then pick him up later from god knows when & where this afternoon/tonight after our local grand final game.
We have our clubs presentation night to go, then of course AFL grand final party, then It's All OVER thank goodness....has been a long season!
....then cricket starts  :-))

Well, the day has come that I have been dreading!.....the boys have finally decided to turn "MY" storage garage into a man cave  :-))
Mainly DS, wants the gym equipment in there, the pool table, and a lounge area.  I guess it's a great space for years to come when his mates come over, but you have no idea how much work there is move my stuff....I need to talk hubby into getting a shipping container  ;)
Naturally, DS wants to start work on it right now *sigh*

Great match maddy, our young boys gave you a run for your money and experience ran out the winner last night.

What a nightmare for you - does DH know how much 'stuff' you have in the garage :-))  You could have a big garage sale, no that wouldn't work - you'd have to go out and buy it all again one day  ;D  I hope you can come to an amicable agreement so that both DS and dear Mum both have areas for their favourite toys.  There's always something happening around your place.

LOL...yes, he knows how much is in there, as he had to build another shed for himself to work in....My stuff pushed him out  :P
In all honesty, a lot of it could go, but if I finally get that extension that was drawn up 6 years ago....that empties a lot of it....trouble is hubby keeps buying machinery & the renovation is put on the back burner once again  :-\

Well that sounds like a deal breaker to me maddy - I'll give up my garage space if you build the extension  ;)

Oh Maddy I hope you find a solution. The extension would be perfect  ;)

Your DS is a lucky boy and will have years of fun in his man cave  ;D

.....puffs, did you find my favourite store "lark" ?
How did the girls  go?

Maddy build another kitchen,, :D

I need more space than another kitchen Robyn  :P
DS spent 9 hours cleaning some of the garage today  :o He's determined to get that gym in there tomorrow....which can I ask, is it odd for an 11 year old to desire to work out on a gym set?
He loves his sport, and takes off for runs after school, but is that going too far?

He probably can't wait for all his mates to come over to his man cave more than working out maddy.  Whatever the reason though, it's nice to see him sticking to the task. Does he already have all the gym equipment?

I have a DS who is now 30 years old and he has been sport and fitness fanatic since around the same age as your DS Maddy.
They could do a lot worse and at least they are staying out of trouble LOL  ;D
