How exciting for you DJ. I hope the kettle and tea aren't packed either.

I went to Jamie's Italian for lunch today. As usual the food is really lovely. Sadly today the service was down on my last visit. We mentioned it to the waiter and his reply was that he is new. I'm sure that doesn't stop him from ignoring us though. We even went without sweets and walked up to Jon Pierre Sancho, a French cafe, and bought sweets there.

Home and warm now and it is even raining.

The armoire WAS delivered today  :D .....it's stunning!!!

BUT

we can't manoeuvre it into the house
1940's houses unfortunately weren't designed with large furniture additions (or a silly maddy who didn't measure the entry access  :-)))
Soooo....it looks like we will now have to remove our large lounge room window to feed it through, and then cut DD's doorway wider to get it in her room  :P  If only you could have seen Hubby's face LOL......and did I mention it also weighs a tonne!
Having a good laugh about it or I'll cry!

On the plus side, Mr. Maddy's tractor turned up 1/2 hour later, so that distracted him from the dilemma   ;)
.........EAT CAKE!

Well at least you can get it in Maddy. Hope you aren't planning on moving.

We had to take out our kitchen window to move the custom made corner lounge into the family room. Wouldn't go up the stairs and wouldn't turn the corner. It sat in the granny flat for 2 weeks and only cost $35 for a glazier to put the window in and out again.  :D

If (when) we move I'm selling the lounge with the house.

Could you make a window in DD's room into a door? Where are you storing it meantime?

Thank goodness for boys and toys.

A pity we live in different continents as I'm sure DH would have looked at it for you, probably knocked it apart and resembled it in her room. ;D
