I have been taking notice of Gert's policy. Never leave home without the iPad or ereader. So this morning I am sitting wait for my 6 monthly check in my lovely skin specialist. He is such a lovely man and chats to everyone, but it does make him late.  :-\

I pads are perfect in waiting rooms Cookie, good luck with your check-up.

I talked a friend into buying an iPad this week.  He is going up north for 8 weeks and he was telling me this morning he just has to talk into his iPad and tell it where he wants to go and a map comes up. He can also find & book ahead for accommodation like that too.  I know he'll get so much use from it and he was very impressed with the new Apple shop in Rundle mall  - the staff were so helpful he said.

Cookie, I'm sitting in a waiting room too :(

Follow up at Gynae after removal of cyst in ovary a couple of months ago. The ovary had to go too.

Hope you are ok BZB.

I did well. A couple to watch and half a dozen burn off ones with the liquid nitrogen. I have been given a script for some Effudix cream that will burn off all the skin cancers on my hands. They look really dreadful, especially the right one from driving to the country and back when I was  about 47 years younger. No air con in those days so you had to have the window down and the sun beat in on your arms and hands.

Judy I love how I can speak to my iPad, and even better it can understand me!

Cookie, the doc has given me the all-clear. He read the report on the cyst to me. In plain english (cos I didn't understand his medical mumbo jumbo) the cyst was benign, but if left there could have turned cancerous. Made my hair stand hearing that!

Glad that you had a good visit. The sun is very, very strong in OZ. Even with windows up, you can feel your skin burning when driving. But that's the trade off for such big, beautiful blue skies :)

I think I would only have myself to blame if something happened and I hadn't been Judy. The specialist would give me a belt around the ear I think.

Judy I love how I can speak to my iPad, and even better it can understand me!

Siri doesn't understand me, neither does the Telstra robot. I must speak weird  :-))
