Thanks Marie.

Suzanne, the trumpet "noises" get better as they progress. My DS #1 is in Yr 9 now, and it has been more enjoyable to my ears. Certainly more pleasing than when he was in primary school :) :D

All packed up. I wouldn't let DH pack the satellite dish away as I wanted to watch the footy tonight. We aren't doing too well at all I should have said pack it away. Silly isn't it, only 840 km from Perth and we need a satellite dish to get TV?

Glad you are still getting nice weather CC.  Getting cooler here.  Glad the snake was harmless.  Do you have any venomous ones there?

Tackling a Mt. Everest size washing pile  :-))  and accountant is on my back to finish the last tax return  ASAP  :-)) :-))
Was meant to go out for lunch today, but I thought I should prioritise  :P

A scary incident happened to my Godson after school on Friday.  He was walking home, and a car was following him.  This guy wound down his window, and demanded for him to get in the car as it was going to rain.  He said NO, and kept walking, this guy demanded again....GS bolted home, shaken.  The police said they couldn't do much, as he didn't attempt to grab him  :o  They said they could file a report if they wanted to  :-\ of course they did, and have alerted the school.
GS was asked if he had a mobile phone, which he does for emergencies, and they asked why he didn't take a photo of the man  :-\ um, in theory that makes sense, but when a kid is petrified, a snapshot was not top of his list of things he should do!
At least he had a good description of the car, so the word is out there.

Had another chat with my DS with procedures, if this were to happen....don't think you can remind them enough.
.........EAT CAKE!

Maddy, How scary for your GS. I think asking him to take a photo is ridiculous ! The guy could have got really angry at the fact that he had evidence and then who knows what he would have done to your GS. That's just putting him in more at risk if you ask me !
