I had a visitor today while I was sitting in the annexe reading. There are quite a few of them wandering around the park. They do poo everywhere.

They peck fingers too if you try and feed them Cookie - my 47 year old DD remembers that from when she was only 5  :-))

Wow, Cookie - they do everything on a big scale over there . . . the nearest we come to scavenging, bold birds is the ibis - one of which stole a sandwich from DD (years ago) at Taronga Zoo ;D

Love it Kimmy.

Yes CP they sure do a big yucky dollop when they need to go. There are about 20 around the park. They even walk the Main Street in Denham.

I'm not fond of emus cookie, but we had a few around campsites, checking out the dogs left overs, but it makes you realise you are out of the city ha ha   Thanks for all the welcome back messages 😄😄😄

Exciting times at my house today  ;) I have spent the morning cleaning up DS's bedroom.  I usually try and get him to "help" but sometimes it's good to whip through when he's not around - time to discard the 50 paper planes and paper hats he's made lately.  ;D

Having a quiet day at home with DD today - we wanted to go for a short train ride, but it's a cold wet day today, so the park at the other end wouldn't be so much fun.  Hopefully next week.

We certainly don't have any animals like that in the campgrounds I've stayed in!  The last one had ducks and swans, but that was it.
