What have you been doing today?

Very cold here today.  When I drove over to MIL & FIL's to drop DD off this morning, my car started beeping at me.  I was a bit concerned (it's a new car and was a new beeping), but it turns out it was just warning me that the outside temp over there was under 5 degrees.  Brrrr.  Of course DD was wearing shorts as usual. 

I've been at work this morning, and just at home with DD for now, and soon we'll go and get DS from school.

oh jo that is cold I hate new beeps too I've been getting them a lot apparently my handbag weighs as much as a person so needs a seat belt if I have it on the front seat )

today I have vacuumed, dusted made all the beds cleaned the bathroom cooked and prepared dinner it's only just lunch time ;D

It blew a gale until about 3 am and then just poured. It is still very windy and raining but does appear to be easing. Take care everyone down south I hear you are going to get more of it tonight. 
I only required one glass of medicinal port last night. It is cooler tonight so may need one for that as well tonight.

Suzanne my Dad used to come up to Monkey Mia to go fishing with my DH. He and I always had some Port while we sat out under the stars setting the world to rights.

Day off today, dropped off kids, walked dog, few chores at home then coffee with friends, grocery shopping. Walked to hairdresser, then popped in to local electrical store to look at TV's. of course I bought one (for kids playroom), then had to walk home with it. Luckily only a small TV, and pretty light.
Spent the afternoon rearranging furniture in playroom to find space for new keyboard, still a lot of sorting out to do up there. Picked up kids, started on dinner, took DD to music lesson, came home then left after 12 mins to pick her up again! Just finished clearing up after dinner and putting my feet up!

LOL that happened to me at work too, but not in our car as it is too old.

Cool and grey today, we've had our two days of summer.
Helped a friend make soap today, it was fun. Tomorrow I am the photographer.
