Lazy is good. It's Easter, we all need a rest.

Lazy is good.

It IS good although it really isn't laziness . . It's autumn and my theory is that the body starts to slow down at this time of year, getting ready for hibernation in winter!!  LOL (That's my story and I'm sticking to it!! ;) )

GF I love your reasoning for only doing what you want to do - sometimes I think we put too much pressure on ourselves when we should just veg out for a while.

Welcome back to Happy Hally's World Hally, it's all behind you now.

Happy dance for Hally. Sooo glad for you that your guests have gone.
I'm pretty sure you'll be out of the country or booked out next time they come Hally. I don't think I could live through your saga again!!

Happy that everything will be back to normal for you Hally.  :)

Laid back day today.  Went for a long bike ride with DD's boy friend, had left overs for lunch, played some Playstation and had a massage.

Glad to hear you are back in HHW again, Hally.
It has been a long day for us. We went fishing this morning, and, as usual, didn't catch anything but seaweed. We sat on the beach for a while, had lunch and then cleaned and packed up. About half an hour into our journey, we got a flat tyre, and had to unpack the car again to get to the spare tyre. One of the locals stopped to help, which was lovely, and he and DH managed to change the tyre without too much trouble. We repacked the car, and continued on our way. However, we had a major detour on the way home due to a fatal accident on the main road, and arrived home a couple of hours later than expected. We have unpacked the car (again), and packed the kids off to bed. I have emptied most of the bags, but will leave the rest until tomorrow night as I have now collapsed on the couch.

Glad to hear that you made it home safely ES.  :)  Accidents are always a worry traveling over the holiday periods.  :( I am happy to complete a trip without coming across one.

at work today, kids are here too. :)
Yesterday the emergency chopper landed near our place, a  young girl snap her leg bad while skiing.

A friend of my DH passed away on Friday, while at work. He was a police officer. He was so young. :'(

Take care on the roads.
My Thermomix,  Kitchen Aid, Pizza oven, Nu Wave 5 in 1, Spatulas, all brings love, laughter, happiness, and great food  to my kitchen.

I went to the gym this morning, hung some washing and have some use-up-veggies in the fridge- soup going in the tmx right now. More washing in the machine and then it will be time for school pick up. Going to take the girls to the park this afternoon for some more bike riding (without training wheels). Miss 6 is very proud of herself.

Ironing and soon cleaning. Hopefully some bread and biscuits too. Then bookclub tonight.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.
