You certainly are keen Nikki - 200km round trip  :o

Astarra, you never cease to amaze me with your energy levels.  Oh well, guess I was the same when I was young

Amanda, I know someone who joined a walking group but stays behind drinking coffee at the café with others who can no longer walk.  Maybe she should call it the coffee club.

Hally, would you believe I don't like the beach! I hate sand in my pants, I hate wind at the beach and being sandblasted, I hate the feel of salt on my skin...but load my horse on my float and roll out my gate at 5.30am, get to the beach by 7-ish and get in the water and I love it!!!  :o  So does he - loves the attention as I give him a good scrub all over. I'm usually out of the water by 8.30 or so, we have coffee and cake up at the float (I have a box in the float with gas cooker, kettle, plunger coffee, etc etc) my spotty horse has cordial (molasses water) and hay. Then we load up and come home. All cleaned up and packed away by about 12 noon!  :)

Judy there is a beach closer - Hillarys or thereabouts, but from what I have heard apparently the dogs and horses don't mingle very well there and so the horses have to be off the beach by 7am. So I go down to Kwinana at the Naval Base Beach.

I cleaned out the files on the weekend and today it's a mammoth task shredding them.  The shredder only likes to do so many before it overheats so I keep going back and doing a few every now and then.

Tidying up a few loose ends as well - amazing what clearing out the filing cabinet can bring to light.

I've been cleaning all morning. Having a break for lunch and then I'll get stuck back in. Doing all the dusting first and then will vacuum afterwards ;)

Well done on your cleaning Judy :D

Got my 6 month all clear from the specialist this morning. Was going to cook but it is too hot and humid.

Surely it can't be worse than when I cleared out our pantry last year MF... I found some things that had expired in 2001 :o ;D

Good news Cookie  :-* :-*

Robyn, I don't understand how the numbers have worn off - you don't actually need to touch them, you just turn the dial to them.  Maybe it is just the constant cleaning of the face that does it.  Pity HO don't sell transfers or something to be able to cover the old numbers with new ones.  Loved the way you improvised  :o
