Food shopping this morning. I needed to get a couple of things at Big W so went to a different shopping centre. It was so busy and the noise drove me crazy. I almost left everything and went back to my very quiet shopping centre. I did manage to pick up some nice meat at the butcher there though, so it was worth it. I must be getting older and crankier.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

I find the same cookie. Happy to drive another few minutes to a quiet shopping centre for food shopping. Hate the big centers and checkout queues. Also trying to find a parking spot is sometimes very frustrating  >:(

Happy bday to dd Astarra ..

We have been at the beach all morning after swimming lessons.. Then lunch was old style Aussie burgers.. They are selfish and so cheap... Reminds me of when we were little and they had those corner burger joints with chips wrapped in newspaper .. Loved those places..

What was selfish about the fish & chips Kim - maybe it means 'so fresh'? ;D

Whilst I had the car serviced, I browsed Spotlight and put a few things in my basket, got to the checkout and saw the line-up with only 1 till open and had to leave them all behind as my car was soon going to be ready to collect and I had my next appointment to get to.  Onto the shopping centre to a different optometrist than usual, very impressed with the lady who did the eye tests (she gave me a new word to google, funny no one else had ever told me I had that problem!) and then ordered prescription sunglasses, computer glasses and bi-focals - nearly fell off my chair with the price. No, not because it was expensive but because it was so cheap!!

Came home to a lovely clean house, dismissed the cleaner/carer so she could get home and have tea then come back for the evening shower.  Enjoyed my day - 2 days out in a row, how good is that ;D

Sounds like a busy but productive day Judy. It is great that you have a carer some of the time now.

Error 52 flashed at me again today for the second time. Rang my consultant today who is looking into it for me as my warranty ends Sunday. So would prefer it be looked at now. :)

I have been too scared to go and get my eyes re tested Judy, I know they have worsened since my last test. I would love prescription sun glasses as well. Where did you go? My last glasses cost me $720 :o

Happy birthday to all the birthday girls from me.

Wow Astarra your menu sounds sooo good. Have you room for one more? Have you forgotten your pregnant too?

Judy that happens to me sometimes too. You think you have time to pop into a store but end up running late because of one slow and long checkout.  I am starting to think I am a magnet for these things! When I grocery shop with mum I send her off to another checkout and she always finishes before me :)

I had mine done a couple of months ago and the optomotrist told me that one of my eyes had actually improved ???
I got  bi-focal sunnies, bi-focal glasses and reading glasses in case I lose or break my bi-focals as I can't read without glasses now.
I got mine in Just Spectacles but can't remember how much it was.
Found the bifocals really weird at first but after a week or so I was used to them.
Great that you were out 2 days in a row Judy and lovely coming home to a clean house  :)
