What have you been doing today?

Going shopping again today as youngest GD is one year old today 
Her party is Saturday so going shopping for a rocking horse for her.
Unfortunately my DH is not skilled in craftsmanship so I will be buying one 
My youngest DD will be 28 tomorrow so need to buy her present too.

My little madam is 2 tomorrow!!!   
So today I will be doing a cake etc, shopping, cleaning and also going to an Enjo demo at 10:30.
DH having afternoon off    so not sure how much will be getting done then!! 
Also have a dinner party here on Sunday - 22 guests so will be cooking for that. (wrote menu last night, so all set to go now.) 
Life is busy busy busy busy..............................

I've been getting ready for the cleaner then as soon as she arrives I'm off to have the car serviced and go for an eye test - she will be here 3 hours today to include sitting with Geoff for the last hour so that I can get these jobs done.

Ames, he loves it. Looks shattered & can hardly talk but hes keen.

Today 29,  it was 41 on court yesterday.

Hs goal is to play in the Hoffman .cup, hes god but not that good, he plays with teenages & has just turned 9.

Hally, it sounds like he could be a very good player, especially if he stays committed

Just went into town with mum to buy a fit ball, we were waiting at the counter for about 10 minutes and nobody came We left the stuff on the counter and walked out, now we're going to look for one online.

Am just doing a roast dinner on Sunday - easiest and always appreciated I find!!  

Snacks: 2 types of crackers, 2 types of cheeses, 2 dips, nuts & bolts, choc sultanas, pretzels & cucmber slices.
Main:Roast lamb, hassleback roast potatoes with lamb herbs on them, kumara salad with sour cream dressing, zucchini stacks, onion tarts, tomato and baby beet salad, tiny little cheese and bacon buns and plain buns too, gravy, S&P etc.
Desserts: sticky date muffins with caramel sauce and ice cream balls + cookies and cream cheesecake, choc sauce and ice cream
Afters: Hot drinks, choc eclair lollies (found 2 pkt in the pantry), 2 flavours of truffles (white choc & lemon + plain choc),
then.... birthday cake #2!!! (we will have a small one tomorrow and a bigger one then!)  

So all pretty basic but should be great fun!!

Wow, what a lovely menu astarra. Nobody will be leaving hungry. The kumara salad sounds yummy as does everything else you're serving.

We have been at the beach all morning after swimming lessons.. Then lunch was old style Aussie burgers.. They are so good and so cheap... Reminds me of when we were little and they had those corner burger joints with chips wrapped in newspaper .. Loved those places..

Now a Round at the shops then off home.. Nice free day out or pretty close lol
