I still have that uninspiring task ahead of me DD - taking decorations down does not sit well at any time

Had a great day.
Met my mother on her way back from spending Christmas with my sister.
She kindly took us out for a lovely lunch. It's been a long time since we had a meal out. The sirloin of beef was excellent  :)

Then Mum set off home to get back before dark and we went to a NT property. Only had a 30 mins walk as they closed at 4pm, but it was a change and whetted our appetites for a return visit. As NT members we get to visit all their properties for free. It's good value as it includes free parking so can go for short visits and just a look see.

DH sleeping on sofa now, LOL.
Will take down the cards and tidy up when he wakes. Massive lot of office work to get through in next two days, our accounts and filing all the accumulated papers going back months. Will be a hard two days but worth it. Am back to work full time+ from weds.

Good to hear that you had a good day out DJ with lunch and a walk. ;D
Did three loads of washing today.Walked the dog twice.Did a bit of housework :P Can't believe it's New Years Eve tomorrow,the time does fly by.

DJ, we used to go to Wiseley Gardens all the time, not far from where I grew up :)

Waiting on washing to dry so I can iron it. My house is lovely and clean as the husband and I are flying out tonight to Hawaii for NYE whilst the kidlets stay at the inlaws.

Thanks ladies - we adore Hawaii, this is trip number 10 and number 3 just for this year LOL.

Hally - our pick for the last 4 trips has been Trump. Only bad part is we are now a bit spoilt and judge everything against it. 

Happy NYE everyone - we will be mid-ocean when it happens here but luckily get to celebrate it in Waikiki instead.

We went this year & last year, abso,utely loved it.

Tbis year real bummer, had a trapped nerve & was not able to do much at all.

Trump, where is that one? We have stayed twice in a suite at the sheraton waikiki & spent a few days at the Kahala.

Today was meant to be helping BIL move ...BUT BIL has ended up in hospital with a suspected hernia  :( so moving day has had to be put off!! So I am enjoying my kitchen and my TM today instead!  :D :D
