Bad news just keeps coming as it seems to be spreading so fast Hally, be prepared for a trip over there before the end of January. So stressful for the whole family, my thoughts are with you all.  :-* :-*

So very sorry Hally.
We went through this this year too. My late MIL did not have cancer, but did not last long, mercifully in the end she slept away.
Go as soon as you can, these prognoses with time are very variable.

Maddy the cat is hysterical!

This is my Christmas gift work in progress

Its all getting too much.

Dh rang MIL, she sounds good & says shes fine. A sister bught in chocs but mil has diabetes so she said she couldnt eat them. She says she is fine, my dh thinks she is fine.

I would eat chocs if I was terminal.

She also has a chemo intro  sessin booked for 15th Jan

I am worried that they both might be in denial.

love and thoughts to you and your family Hally xxx

ds11 informed me last night that he needed to go to school as Prince Charming on Thursday, so I spent 2hrs I didn't really have today searching for the outfit, I tell you this boy of mine......at least I got it and it's more of a modern/trendy Prince charming

LOL Suzanne.
Thanks H.

H denial is very common and many people do not admit they are in the final months/years, especially to their children.
A lifetime's habit of being strong and there for family is a hard one to change, especially for that generation.

The chocolates would probably make here feel very ill with the diabetes.

You can only do what you think best.
Can you use Skype, could someone take a laptop to MIL?
Thinking of you and sending huge hugs.

Hally thinking of you and your family, Mum has had her first round of Chemo and is really unwell at the moment. It's so hard hearing her suffering in her voice at the moment. Wish we could do something to make her feel better. And I hope she is feeling a bit better soon before her second round of Chemo coming up next week :(
But with my mum the prognosis is positive, but you mil the prognosis is not so good :(
