Thanks Marie.I gave him a anti- inflammatory last night with his food and it seems to have done the trick He's such a active dog I just wanted to make sure he hadn't done anything major.

I know that the Chemo is important and will make her better. But it's going to be a long road to full recovery

I have never had anything to do with Chemo Amy, how did it effect your mum?

She got very sick, very tired, her hair fell out and her nails went very dry and hard. On her last round, she caught a cold so it was even worse, if thats possible! Something also happened to her teeth, I think they became a lot more sensitive.
I remember one day we had been to the shops, and all the way home I could see her trying not to throw up. As soon as we got home she threw the door open and vomited in the garden. I ran around and I had to hold on to her to stop her from falling over. It was very scary
She also lost her appetite, which made things harder because she needed good nutrition more than ever.
Chemo is a really horrible thing

It's certainly a potent drug, it's going to be a long road. It's scary to know what to expect, but on the other hand it's good to know what to expect to get prepared for what's to come
