Morning swim and now work.

I was just sprung by a new person starting in our office.  I was reading a work policy document on my computer and must have dosed off for a second when he stuck his head in to say hello.  :-[

 ;D lol, ooh DD

I think my dh might have a few 40 winks at work too, well he has them at home :)

Lol Den :)
Halex, my DH has lots of 40 winks at home but says he can't fall sleep at work when on night shift. He once fell asleep at a powderfinger concert so I find it hard to believe him!

Today I have been framing for a customer of some beautiful family photos, including one large one of her Husband. Today I just found out that her Husband passed away :(
I'm unsure on how long I leave it before I let her know her framing is done now.
I have never been in a position like this before. Obviously I'm not going to ring her today, or probably not this week. Might leave it till next week?
What would you do?

Mandi, personally I would ring her this week sometime. She probably wants the photo of her husband back so she can put it up somewhere nice.

I am assuming he passed away after you were given the job.

Gosh this is a hard one, got any wise friends to ask?

Oh that is a hard one Mandi, I think I would ring her, offer my sympathy, let her know the framing was done to pick up at her leisure.  :)

Yes, you must ring her Mandi - she will want it more than ever now but just a call to let her know it is ready, offer your condolences and leave it up to her as to when she will collect it.  It may be important for her to get it straightaway or it may be able to wait until after the funeral.

Thanks guys, I won't ring her today , but in a couple of days I think.
I think no matter when she picks it up its going to be upsetting for her either way :(

I'm sitting in my car waiting for GS to be dropped off where DD works - amusing myself with the forum.

Got up this morning and got in the car to take DS to school and DD to playcentre, and NOTHING.  Flat battery.
So, put the battery on the charger and walked home with just enough time to fill out the monthly PAYE tax return.  Exciting stuff.
By then the battery was charged enough to head back to collect DD (took the longer way so it would hopefully recharge the battery).

Now home again and eaten leftovers for lunch and about to get some housework done before it's time to go and get DS from school!
Oh, and from a gorgeous morning, it's turned cold and starting to rain, so there go my plans to get the washing up to date!
