I can't do dinner anymore after a big lunch Michelle.
Years ago I could but not now. 
Love trifle and haven't made one for ages.

It was Amy but I ate too much  
I don't normally like buffets but it was pretty good..
They only do this sunday lunchtime from 12-2pm.
Then they set up high tea and then a la carte from 6pm.
Still pretty wild weather up here how is Albany?
Hope your mum likes her hair  

I think most people would eat too much in that situation MF It sounds like a fabulous restaurant, GD must love working there!
The weather down here is still pretty bad too. We're not getting our washing dry
And I am still trying to convince mum that her hair is beautiful

Thanks MF. Its hard to cheer her up again when she is sad like this
Its especially hard for her because this is her new hair. Its her first regrowth since chemo so she is very self concious of it

Oh no I didn't know she had recently had chemo 

Tell her it will fade in tone with every wash.

I am sure it looks great as sometimes when I get my hair done I hate it but everyone else likes it

Sorry MF, I've got used to thinking about it so I forget that other people don't know

She does look lovely. I think it makes her look much younger. I'll tell her it will fade a bit. Maybe when its not so bright and new she might like it more
