This afternoon will be spent cleaning the dust and bugs from the car and my bike.

That is a bugger of a job.

Beautiful day here today - spring at last! Caught up with friends this morning, took them some morning tea. Then after lunch the girls & I went for a bike ride to a playground a couple of suburbs away - our favourite thing to do when weather is fine. Caught up on some housework, a bit of cooking, and now I'm menu planning for next week - as always, looking on here for inspiration!

Today I have started another batch of sugar fermenting to make pure alcohol. Last weeks effort was a geat success and I distilled about 7 litres from 6 kilos of sugar in 20  litres of water. It came in at between 70% and 85 % so I watered it down to 40%.

Now the blending SueJen!

Might make some vanilla essence. It is all for drinking DJ. I make my own White Spirits. Gin, Bacardi and Vodka. Sometimes  Lmoncello or a liquor. Works out at about $5 to $ 6 a litre. It is not difficult and can be fun but I like to make a lots at once as have to have all the stuff set up in the garage and I don't like to do,that often. Also it will be getting too hot soon.

Maddy every family has at least one thorn  :o

I have been having a bad time with one here too.

So sad as I opened my home to her for 6 months and she literally has tried to take over my kids, grandkids and even my neighbors.

Too long a story to tell but she has made my life a misery for 18 months now.She is my SIL and my DH so angry with her.  :(

Bugger of a job. LOL was the pun intended?   ;D

All finished now. I used the pressure washer and a good car cleaning detergent. It wasn't too bad.

That is sad MF.  Sometimes you just have to cut 'em loose . Call me hard hearted Hannah but  I don't need negativity and  depressing people in my life.  I hae never regretted leaving my family behind nearly 50 years ago. They are still,"at it ".
