I love those lizards. They can be very friendly and love raw eggs.

I love blue tongue lizards, Gert I didn't get back to you on the holiday cake,  ;D yes you would probably get a holiday if you ate too much and drove, I soaked the fruit in a cup of liqueur muscat then when the cake was nearly cooked tipped the left over juice over the top.  Umm I just had two small pieces.  I have celery in drying for T's salt, and made a batch of veggie stock and have put some of that in to dry too, see how it goes.

Show was awesome today. DS5 and DS3 had a great time. Animals, machines, a baby crocodile, show bags and rides. And no junk food consumed! Won first prize for my unbanked slice and carrot cake and second prize for cupcakes, lemon curd and savoury muffins. Scones failed dismally I need a lot more practice (or a few trade secrets). Time for bed to rest weary legs.

I have spent the last four days in Perth for professional learning. I was sick with a cold for all of it. Tuesday morning I called into our Perth Office to write an urgent report for something that came up while I was driving to Perth the night before and the boss sent me home as soon as I finished.

The next three days were pure hell. I just have a cold (probably caught it from a drink station worker in the half marathon) but sitting in PL all day trying to pay attention with a cold symptoms is not fun. All I have done is gone to my sessions and gone home and rested.

Starting to feel like I am on the mend. Still in the city at DD's house. Don't think I could have driven home this afternoon.

Best wishes Den, it certainly sounds like you've had a rough week! :(

Well done on your slice and cake Kimmy!! I must confess that I rarely make scones because they never work for me either :-)) I'm really glad you had a nice day, I remember loving those shows when I was younger :D
