GHM, I don't know how you do public speaking for fun? Do they give you a topic to speak on or do you have to choose something to talk about? I would find that really daunting and not fun at all.

+1... :o
I would be that nervous I would lose my voice I reckon!!  :-X
Awesome invites, Michele.  :)

Lovely invitations Michele  8)
I love how they are now so unique and and personalised....years ago they were so generic or ridiculously priced if custom made.

Enjoying my double shot latte before I tackle the weekend aftermath in my house....kids are pigs!  :P and the male I'm married to is not much better!   :P :P

What I've been doing today is getting excited.  We are off to Adelaide in the morning to take a new car (for me) for a test drive. Will be staying overnight in Glenelg before driving it home on Wednesday (all being well).  DH can follow in our other car.  ;D

A Honda Civic vti-vn in this colour.  Was originally going to get the one up from this (Sport) but at $6000 more to have a sunroof, a slightly bigger engine, one inch bigger wheels and leather seats (which I would cover up anyway), I couldn't really justify it, that money would be better served elsewhere.  ;D (and no Gert, I'm not going to get a HMP)  :D

Ooh ahh, that is lovely Julie - wouldn't the insurance on a sports model be so much more expensive too?  Good choice, enjoy your drive home in it.

Hi Michele
I belong to several Toastmasters clubs. Competing is entirely optional, you get to choose your topic but htis particular competition is a humorous category so obviously something funny!  I like to push myself out of my comfort zone! :)

Yes so I've heard  :D

Yes I love the colour too and the interior isn't black!  So many cars I've looked in have black insides which I just don't like, shows every mark and feels so hot.

I'm going to be awfully disappointed if I'm disappointed after driving it, so hopefully that won't be the case.  :D

Judy, thanks for reminding me to ring our insurance people just to touch base and yes I think you're probably right about higher premiums for the sports model.

Good luck Astarra ;D

I love the car Julie!! Is it auto or manual? My mum has promised that she will buy me a new car when she wins the lotto, and I quite like the look of that one ;D
