Choc hazelnut biccies (recipe will be posted soon), and some more of Amy's quiches this time with a bit of added carrot, capsicum with sliced tomato and chopped chives for garnish. I've got to finish making uni's limoncello that I started last week (hope its still alright), and then steamed roast chicken for dinner tonight from DOACB

Looks yummy CP and what a great idea with the quiche, mine always stick a little no matter how much I think I grease them, will be using that idea from now on

Have just finished all of DD's washing from her trip plus ours as well, took the dog to the hairdressers, baked some choc chip cookies and some shortbread

Suzanne I put a pic on how I cut the baking paper to fit the pans under Amy's zucchini cheese & bacon quiches (under Starters on the forum)

Today was my monthly carers' meeting, the first I've been to since early August - a special one today, a lunch meeting at a local hotel. Imagine their surprise when I told them I didn't get to go on the retreat at the end of August.  Geoff's sister came down to sit with him for a few hours and just before I left I whipped up 4 pies for their lunch.  She was so impressed that I told her I'll get her a pie maker for her birthday.

Every time I think on it it makes me sad.

Your. SIL is a gem and that will be a nice gift. Maybe she will make you and Geoff a pie.

She is not really into cooking Gretchen, her DH seems to have taken over kitchen duties lately.  However, she was impressed with the pie maker so I'm sure she will want to give it a go. I also talked her into taking a pile of old food magazines to browse as my piles are growing and they need to go somewhere.  She is a gem and I don't know what I would do without her.

Your SIL is wonderful, as are you Judy. That will make a lovely birthday gift. It will be nice for Geoff and his sister to spend some time together too.

Celebrating our 14th wedding anniversary (15 years together as a couple). How has yet to be determined :)

The missus is at work as usual but is going to try and leave early, original baby sitter plans have fallen through, so debating whether I cook, Bob cooks, we get takeout or go to a restaurant with the kids. Decisions, decisions, decisions*.
