Wonder, does your cleaner know anyone looking for cleaning in the Collingwood / Fitzroy area (if you do, could you PM me please as I don't always watch this thread)?  We used to have a lovely lady come in but, sadly, she passed away earlier this year.  I would prefer to get someone by 'word of mouth' than go to an agency.

Amy, you would soon get used to someone coming in to clean.  When we got our first amah in Hong Kong I felt very uncomfortable about having a stranger in, but it took approx. 2 hours to get over that and I have never looked back!

Not done a lot, it's early still. (9.15)have done the breakfast dishes and everyone has gone off to their Wednesday work. I'll sit down with a crio and do my menu plan and then shop.

I had a pleasant surprise this morning when the cleaner showed up. Luckily I was dressed and ready for work.  I thought she wasn't coming this week but was mistaken. It was last week she booked off.

No, just a good friend, had a couple of hours to spare. That is what she does working for herself..

Popped in for coffee, and had 1 hour with nothing to do, so we filled in some time together.
