I've been cleaning the pantry floor AGAIN. This time I knocked over a lovely bottle of apple liqueur that I bought in Burra SA. I was so angry with myself. I've told DH we have to go back so that I can get some more. I was looking forward to using it in a fruit cake.

Apart from usual school runs, washing cooking etc.... have been to post office to get my passport renewed because we are going on holiday a month from now! Going to Malaysia - 2 night in KL then 8 days at a club med. not sure if I'm really a resort person but I'm sure gonna have fun finding out! Just got off the phone with travel agent, everything booked, just need to organize hotel in KL.

Have a great holiday, Debbie.  Very envious in this part of town!  Stock up on all those books then just laze around and relax whilst the girls are enjoying their supervised activites.

Getting an e-book reader of some kind is a great idea for holidays - saves a heap on space and weight (and books are expensive in Asia if you run out of them).  Just load it up with a dozen or so books then you can read on the plane and finish them when you get back home - but don't forget to take your recharger and plug adapter with you.

Another excellent day at work. I took in Thai chicken sausage rolls for morning tea which everyone enjoyed.
Home now, day off tomorrow, enjoying a glass of wine.

I've been down to my daughters to hear her eldest's reading and to help her with her new words (she is 5). I think I over did it because she said "ts time for you to go home now Mama! Haha.

Love it. Does she have little flash cards for her new words?

She has a list of words. She knew most of them but was so sick of me trying to teach her the ones she was stuck on-LOL!  I was there when the nanny left and they were all upset, the younger ones cried..... Sadly I'm not as popular!

I went into London to see GS.Pretty quiet on public transport after the Olympics. It will be like that for the next couple of weeks then the Paraolympics start.Tickets for all the advents are selling very quickly and will possibly sell out.
