Mich, we gave it to him this mrning, about 10 mins ago, he gave all 3 of us the biggest hugs, this is a major thing fr a child in care with his past histort. The home he was taen out off before the last home, e was deprssed with no emotion.

As long as he is not too naughty i think we will cope.

Yes a big expense but t has to be done.

Lucky for the food budget ;D

Jamberie, I hope so :)

Hally it must have been worth all the expense just for that hug alone. You are doing a wonderful job and lr is so fortunate to have found you. Will he move to live with you permanently or only rostered between your family and elsewhere?

Was actually coming on here to link to the new Aldi catalogue - there are some interesting specials for next week.

That's nice Hally at least being at school they don't need as many clothes, if you buy wisely they can often fit longer than one season unless they have a massive growing spurt which he might put on weight eating all your lovely home cooking :)

Hmmmmm...total escapism from looking after three sickies at home..should I or shouldn't I??

Is that a silly question or what

Aldi won't be coming to us at all. The hangers on special I have been looking for  those for years. I would buy 10 packs of them. I wish they sold on line! bugger X 10. If anyone sees these type of hangers on line pleas let me know.

Hally, lr will be so happy living with you and I hope he develops and learns everything that will benefit him in the future.  The love, care and teachings you will give him will stand him in good stead and I couldn't think of a better family for him to go to where this will happen.  I take my hat off to you as there will be difficult moments I'm sure but I know you will cope and try to help him with any issues he has.  My only advice would be to perhaps let him earn some of the treats that will be coming his way by expecting he does chores around the house, keeping his bedroom tidy etc as he is of the age where he should be quite capable of doing that.  Good luck to you, DH and CP and most of all lr whom I hope benefits from your kindness of heart in such a way that he can go on to lead a 'normal' life as we know it.

Of course we have bought a new freezer as the other one died over night.
I couldn't resist this. It was $15 at Woolies. The bowl needs to go in the freezer but for $15 I felt I couldn't go wrong. Just need a working, freezing freezer to put the bowl in.

May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.
