Hi,
just thought I'd start a new thread to see if it's helpful.  For those of us not usually organised enough to do a meal plan, but thinking one day ahead / on the day  :D

I'm planning to do a stir fry turkey dish tonight (coconut, ginger and lemongrass sauce) in the TMX tonight, with steamed jasmine rice.  I only hope that fussy DD1 likes it!
Hi where can I find this sauce recipe or did you make it up? I need a good sauce with chicken

Using this recipe, today we had Hokkein noodles with pork and honey soy sauce made up with the unused portion of noodles and frozen stir fry vegies from yesterday's meal, some pork fillet instead of chicken, leaving out the chilli and oyster sauce and using the small packet of sauce from this recipe I had in the freezer - delicious. This is the leftovers, our serves were much bigger.

We had slow roasted "Dog Bones"  last night.....which is hubby's interpretation of lamb shanks.
I popped them on top of some vegetables, and poured over a sauce with red wine/stock/tomato paste/garlic/oregano.

.........EAT CAKE!

Have 3 boys for a sleepover, so roast chicken, roast and steamed veggies, bread sauce (thanks JD), gravy, then apple crumble and custard. Yumm plus a few glasses if wine for ne to dull th noise :D

We had isi's crispy olives, a sundried tomato and mushroom quiche and chookie's apple caramel dessert which i tried using honey as nô golden syrup where we are and no where near as Nice as honey too overpowering!

Chicken Spring rolls and Chicken and Corn soup, tonight.  Tripe in white sauce with parsley and fresh bread.  Yes , I can hear the moans.  It was delicious. ;D ;D

Yesterday morning I made a Rick Stein recipe; Lamb & potato curry in my pressure cooker (only 20 mins cooking time), and once cooled put in the fridge and left it to develop flavours until required today. I served over plain rice. 

Today I made Fast Ed's rhubarb bread & butter pudding (stewed the rhubarb in the TM) to have after the curry.  I only made a half quantity of both recipes and there's till heaps left over.  :)

Yummo Julie.  You sometimes wonder where they get their serving calculations - recipes for 4 people which are halved, usually feed 3 people in this household of 2  ;)
