Great willpower CP.
You should try the chocolate sauce that is a part of Chookie's choc bread and butter pudding.  Once it's refrigerated it goes all thick and smooth, tastes wonderful!  ;D

Yesterday made Chow Mein , good for a veggie hit. I was given a bag of a french beans which are perfect in the veggie mix.  Then I made a light French  veggie soup from Rachel Khoo's book. Also has french beans and tinned white beans.
Today making bread. Might make more Soft Spanish rolls. We really enjoyed these both fresh and toasted. These take just under an hour while the weather is warm. And a mini grain loaf.

I must try and catch up with this thread to get some cooking mojo back. I made a beautiful loaf of bread today. It's a basic one from The Road To Loving My Thermomix blog. I added a little extra water and 65g mixed seeds. It's so light and fluffy, I'm going to have to cut it and freeze very soon or I'll eat the lot.

I made some really nice muesli bars yesterday from one of her recipes, too. I know she copies a lot of them from other places, but her recipes work and a lot of them are healthier versions of shop bought products.
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

I put some yoghurt on last night and jumped for joy when it worked this morning. I have now had 2 batches in a row turn out. I hope I'm on a roll.
Yesterday I made a pumpkin cake with dried apricots in it.

My successful yoghurt draining to thicken it a little.

Yippee cookie! funny how bread rising and yoghurt working makes you feel like you've conquered the world just about. The pumpkin cake looks lovely - is it a nice orange colour inside?

Just made a batch of biscuits and put too much butter in them cos I wasn't concentrating on the measurement, and they just melted into the tray. So hot here today - I hate having the oven on

That pumpkin and apricot cake looks lovely! I was planning on cake making today, but only have one egg left and the shop had run out.  :'(
