I had a chuckle at that CC. It's best if you can do the uphill walk first, although its not possible in this instance.
I had another appointment at the doctors this morning for ultra sound treatment on my upper back. I had tests etc the other day but the radiologist was lovely and told me that there were no gall stones or kidney stones present. The nurse that did today's ultrasound treatment has an interest in muscles. She said she thinks I have pulled my trapez ????? muscle. She knew exactly where it hurt and when it hurt. I was very impressed. Although I do like my GP I realised that he hadn't examined my back and had sent me for the tests before thinking of more simple things. The joys of over 21.

Will it get better left untreated cookie or did the knowledgeable nurse recommend some sort of treatment?

Cookie, I hope your back recovers quickly.

I ordered the carpets yesterday and now have a couple of busy weeks ahead of me.  We decided to pay to have the furniture moved and the carpet people will arrange that for a price of course but I think it is well worth it.  I still have to empty the cupboards and bookcases etc.  I have just finished doing the crystal cabinet and one book case so that is two down.  DIL took 4 bags of books to the op shop for me.  I filled 2 more bags with unwanted items this morning.

You are wise getting the contractors to move the furnishings, Margaret, in my opinion it is worth every penny (oops, sorry, cent!) to get them to do it. Perhaps it would be different if we were all several decades younger, but as I imagine you are around my age, getting younger people to do the job is the best way to go.

That’s a no brainer here too Margaret, I try and help by removing the less heavy items from the rooms. Last time I cleared the crystal cabinet I washed everything then stored them in a couple of large plastic tubs. I was so glad I had done that when the time came to put everything back.

I had my last ultra sound treatment today. I see the doctor Tuesday (we have a public holiday Monday) to see what happens next. I think time should heal it.
From there I popped up to the Westfield and ended up buying another pair of jeans and a t shirt at Suzanne Grae. I like their clothes as they fit me. They even had 30% off today.

Nice shopping Cookie.
GD 19th Birthday on Monday.  I am cooking, garlic bread, Hummus, Pav and the TMX chocolate cake. Will drop off goodies but won’t stay for dinner as against the lockdown rules. I use Cookies Classic bread recipe for the garlic bread.  It is always the first to go.

DD and I went to the Royal Show today. It was quite different to previous years. (Last year’s was cancelled). A lot of things weren’t there. We still enjoyed it and DD got to spend some 1-1 time with an eagle. She said it was rather heavy to hold but loved it.

Cookie how wonderful for DD. The Guardian newspaper are having their annual competition naming Australia’s favourite bird.  You get one vote. I am voting for the Spotted Pardalote.

A cute little fellow Chookie.
Are you still not allowed to see GD on her birthday tomorrow Chookie?
Many people at the show cookie? The eagle experience would have been great.

Chookie, these are lovely little birds.  We have seen them and their nests at DS place.  I would find it hard to choose a favourite.  We have King Parrots, Blue Wrens, Rosellas & Wattle Birds here.

I'm still busy clearing out things for the carpet layers.  Because most of the house has polished boards I even have to clear out the bottom of the built in robes and linen cupboards.  Our kitchen looks like a storage house with all the boxes stacked up.

It is such a lot of work Margaret, they’ll lay the carpet quicker than you’ve been able to clear what you can out of their way.

What a cute bird Chookie. Mab I don’t envy you all that emptying and sorting.
We had to buy our Royal show tickets online Judy. They were only releasing 60,000 per day. It seemed quite crowded though and they said they had the 60,000 there.
