I went to the dentist for my six monthly checkup. No treatment needed.

A quick trip to the shops as my printer has decided not to work &£$%^***.  I can't find anyone local to fix it and it cost too much to through out.  The nearest service place is about 1 1/4 hours away, so I will try them next week.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Mab, when my printer stopped working, myDS took it to bits and could find nothing wrong.  Last resort he checked the ink cartridges.   One wasn’t pushed in properly. Bingo, this was the problem.

What a nuisance Margaret. If a repairer had done that for you Chookie they would have probably charged a $100.

I took my hay fever to the doctor today. He said exactly as expected, that not a lot can be done. He suggested I try some of the newer medications and nose sprays. I guess it is important to keep our pharmacists happy and friendly.

Congratulations CC.

In London today on babysitting duties. Picking up GS from school later, taking the bus home. Then helping with homework, tea then bath and bed for him.
I hope everyone had a good day too.

I popped up to the little Italian deli as I needed a couple of things. I love how I can get enough tomatoes for the week for $2 or so there. I needed 2-3 things. Somehow when I came home I had 3 carry bags of stuff I didn't know we needed. ;) ;) ;) ;) I have 1 persimmon left from last week and this week I bought a feijoa (?). They are growing them down in Manjimup. I love how 90% of the stuff at this place is from WA.

Cookie, not strange at all.
I had the oddest  thing for lunch today. It was Fish and Chips.  The fish was called Barra collar and the chips were delicious and I am sure they were cooked in chicken fat. Great diet stuff!!
The fish was crumbed in rolled oats and there were wings that pulled off easily.

Today I ordered a profiterole cake for Rals Birthday on July the 1 st, from Brunetti in Lygon Street.
Also considering a catered meal of a baby pig on a spit, ( pre cooked ) with gravy, salads and sweets. Very tempting as I won’t have to do much. Just have to organize  someone to pick it up and bring it to Ballarat on the day.

Do yourself a favour and order it Chookie. Is it an extra special birthday for Ral?

Do it Chookie.  Brunetti’s stuff is delicious.

Been very quiet since I returned after our girls weekend away to Port Fairy . So today I will have to do more washing the family's clothes are breeding. Food has run out , more cooking . Although even after leaving so much food for while I was away , food came to them via lovely person who has a pasta shop . He dropped off more boxes of fresh pasta and croissants that had not yet been baked ! One was saved for me and a surprise for breakfast yesterday . Our old painter dropped a few ducks off too and a local guy left some eggs ! Best weekend lots of laughs and good food ,dining out ,shopping , wedding watching and started with a remedial massage for 11/2 hours !!

That sounds like a wonderful weekend K Atie. Obviously the family were spoiled while you were away, despite all the food you left for them.

That weekend sounded great Katie and you deserved it.  Wow you have a wonderful bunch of neighbours with all those drop offs.

K Atie, what a fab weekend away and
at home. Glad it all went well for you.
Judy, Ral is 80 on the 4 th of July.
Think we will go with the catering.  I want to enjoy the day also.
Bought a beautiful caftan top ( Camilla) today to wear. Can’t be cooking a roast dinner for 20+ in nice clothes. Well, that is my justification.
