Apart from dash, who  we will all recognize because he will be the only one in running shorts in the middle of winter, why not all make some sort of ID for ourselves for the first night get together. Not name tags as suck but something with our forum names  and/or real names . Those who Wish   to remain incognito can just wear  a bag on their head. 8)

I am thinking along the lines of maybe drawing or photographing your avatar or whatever . Maybe a badge style, head band, button , necklace , wrist band, hat, or even tattoo. Ok most of us would not be caught dead in a group wearing a name but just for the first night so we can get to know who we are. Well I know who I am but not you. It could even be something you identify with such as achookwoman may be a chicken or cookie a cookie or JD as the dawn rising.  Could be very small or very large.

Only problem may be H who does not know who she is  :o

What do you think?

LOL  ;D
What about an icebreaker game?
Guess who is who and if you get it wrong, you have to skull a glass of wine or take a piece of clothing off  ;D

As a training consultant I often play ice breakers. They are quite fun. Get people interacting. Perhaps not the one mentioned, but there are heaps to choose from.

I don't need a fail at games  to scull a glass of wine.

How about if we get it wrong we can take a piece  of clothing off Dash?

In my case  people would be throwing their clothes at me  for me to put ON!

We need some sensible people to stay sober and cook our DINNER!

There  is no doubt we will need an ICE BREAKER  because it will be sooooo cold.

Those who can leave Perth early can get the dinner organised and those who arrive later finish it off while the others have a drinks break. That might work.

Or we could have a Progressive dinner trooping around the neighbourhood in the dark knocking on doors seeing who has what to eat.

Or we could have each house prepare a course so long as I am in the last course house so  no one will have to carry me home.

Have we sorted the vegans from the vegetarians, from the raw food people from the Crohns/Celiacs from the allergies yet?  That would be another way to  allocate beds.

Then we can sort us drinkers from the abstainers but I bet that would be a very full house on one side.

Gert you crack me up. I think the girls (and Dash) are glad I am not going, cause you and I would get into too much mischief.
