Gosh that is cold. I hate it when we have a maximum of 15 or 16.

It has rained a reasonable amount here.

I have been very lucky with a mild “Dry Season”. Nothing much changes In Tropical North Queensland. And more importantly nothing has much changed for me with Coronas 19. Feeing most fortunate while others of us are struggling.

It's going to be 24 here today, shame I am at work, I will have to find an excuse to get outside for a while .. perhaps have lunch on our top deck and enjoy the sunshine.

We're faced with another couple of weeks (at least) of lockdown.  I am disappointed but not surprised, I just hope it all works.  It's been approx. 10 weeks since I have been allowed to go up our home in Guildford and I know I am missing all the trees in blossom and all the spring flowers - I am sure our garden beds will be a mass of exuberant weeds as well!  Ah well, it could be worse.  So far both DH and I have been COVID free so I consider that we are the lucky ones.

Marina you are all under enormous pressure so your doing very well . My DM misses the beach so much and we fell hollow without her . You need a neighbour or friend to check your home and do a FaceTime call to see it and the flowers , not the same but a little always helps .
Warm today but so so windy that it’s really cold inside. Outside blown away .

It will be hard for all Victorians for another couple of weeks. It is wonderful to see the daily numbers dropping.

Cookie, you wouldn’t have liked the wind today.  Trees down everywhere.  Tomorrow it is supposed to rain.

Nights cold, days warm.
Cleaning out Chook shed again today.
Went shopping to IGA.  Big adventure.  Shop assistant showed me how to wear mask without glasses fogging up. Twist the elastic at the side. There are only 2 cases of virus in Ballarat, that they know of.

The shop assistant sounded wonderful and helpful.

A tiny bit of rain last night.

No active known cases of Coronavirus in Ballarat at the moment.
Very windy today.  No as cold.

It helps if you can perch the frames of your glasses just on the top of the mask as well.  I paid $15 for some anti-fogging cloths from our optician ... they didn't work!

When I worked in the operating theatre we had masks with a plastic bit you could pinch to make a seal around your nose. We do not have to wear masks but as an “ abundance of caution” and after a lot  of research , bought an expensive but suitable mask from umask. http://umask.com.au/. It does not allow my glasses to fog.

Thanks Gert. Will check them out.
We only go out about once every 10 days.  We wear the blue and white masks that have a wire that fits to your nose. They are disposable. Don’t like that.

Has anyone seen the message from TMX about the ‘ Friend’?

What message?

The umask is washable and will last as long as the pandemic I figure so money well spent.
