What have you been doing today?

That's not very nice Chookie. Surely if you had the machine and used it, everything would be ok. A couple of friends have it and love their machines, as they feel so much better.
Your get together sounds fun. I hate it when you are asked to leave as they wish to prepare for dinner or close up.

 I did the washing this morning and a heap of ironing.

In London babysitting again. DD going out tonight so I’m on duty.😁 GS and I love doing together  “Spot the Difference Pictures” so bought a book of them and we can test our skill tonight. 😂

They are quite hard to do Denise, it used to drive me crazy if I couldn’t find the pictures. It’s so much harder with ‘elderly eyes’.  Have fun.

MIL’s nursing home is the same as Judy’s Mums. It has been in lock down with norovirus for 3 weeks now. Not too good really.

Have been to Dr, chemist and done the pills for another week. Closed down the house in readiness for tomorrow’s 40+. Ral has checked out the generator so that if we lose power we can run the freezers.

well its going to be 45 here tomorrow !! Boys stopped harvesting tonight . No harvest tomorrow. The generator would be a good idea but let’s hope we do not have a power outage too . Making the house as cool as possible today / tonight .

Yes we have Where’s Wally Books Cookie. My goodness it’s hard looking for all the characters you need to find in each picture.

Travelled home from London early. Boy it was busy on the tube. We were packed in like sardines on the Jubilee Line. The Metropolitan Line was fine.

Washed the kitchen floor this morning.  I don't know why as it will just get messy again.

Pulled out the fold up table from storage, set up both tables with cutlery, glasses and decorations etc.  Made an early start as I seem to be quite disorganized this year.  We have 14 for lunch again this year.  Still need to get the extra chairs down from in the garage.

We went to a funeral this morning. DH was going down to see MIL but they are still in lockdown with the noro virus. It’s been over 3 weeks now.

Hell it is hot.  5 pm and 40 degrees.  Rals Dr called us in early to avoid the heat. We parked illegally and so did others. No parking attendant.  Good Dr report.

Yes very hot 46 now 44 .
Spent the early morning watering, putting straw for the chooks to keep cool and thier water . Pepper cleaned her kennel out , she ended up at back door playing with water all day I hav3 had refesh her bowl !
DH and DS went to Bendigo to pick up a truck , crazy , sad bit was DH left his phone on a battery box on truck .... never to be seen again . Oh dear !
