Cookie, they look great.
Today made Chicken stock.
36 small sausage rolls. 2 lots of Hot X Buns.   I fiddled with both Bun recipes.

These were cooked in a large Le Creuset pot.
10 minutes with lid on and 15 minutes with lid off. Good.

These are 300 g white bread flour, 100 g wholemeal rye flour and 100g of Spelt.
The fruit was replaced with 100g currants and 70 g walnuts.
The spices were replaced with 4 teaspoons of Quatre  Epices.

These are very nice.

Yum Chookie. I think I will put some nuts in  my next batch. Maybe macadamias, thanks for the idea.

Cookie, these buns with the walnuts in were very popular.  None left.
Will certainly make them again.

Thanks Chookie.
I made two lots of Tomato Passata today from my box of tomatoes. I used the recipe from Thermofun and it tastes very nice. http://thermofun.com/thermomix-passata-recipe/

I’m making the last of the tomatoes into tomato paste at the moment. Yesterday I made tomato soup for lunch today and this morning I made Chookie’s Chia, Oatbran loaf as it goes into a cold oven and is quick to make.

When we get home from Melbourne today I will mix up a batch of SD buns for the demo tomorrow.  I have fed and left the SD starter on the bench while away. Hope it is behaving it’s self and hasn’t flowed over.

Demo delayed for a day.  What to do with a full jar of SD starter.
Make crumpets.   While in Melbourne I did a taste test of Dr Marteys SD crumpets.  I had to see if mine are as good.   I think they are. ( probably shouldn’t say that :(. )
