Really, it is actually quicker to do a larger amount of boiled eggs in the Thermie, only 15 mins all up.
I'll try it next time with only 500 g water. 
I just drop the basket into a bowl of cold water to cool them down quickly.

We had rissoles cooked on the barbie. Sautéed onion and bacon in Thermie and added it to the mince with tomato sauce, Worcestershire and herbs. I put rice flour in this time and they stayed together really well served with gravy with an addition of a spoonful of tomato relish and salads. Yum!

An English friend showed me how to do am English hotpot with leftover roast meat & gravy many years ago CC.  Was always a favourite meal of mine and I haven't done it for so long I had forgotten about it. Mmm, I have a bit of pork roast, vegies & gravy in the fridge - think I will make this today.

I made 3 different types of pizza,

Used Jamie Olivers pizza dough recipe. One day I will be brave & try another dough. Anyone recommend one that the bttoms go crsipy?

We had satay chicken, meat lovers & a vegetarain with baby spinach 0n the top for the last few minutes.

DS has some for lunch & we have some left  overs  too.

Yum, love pizza, dont  make it too often.

Had them outside on our dining table, ready to photograph but both boys had well & truly tucked in. ;D

I bought the prawns for that one Julie but it's too hot now and besides that I am doing a prawn risotto for DH and a friend who is sitting with him tomorrow night whilst I have a rare night out with the carers. Can't wait to see your review of the gumbo.

Judy, it was really delicious! I served it up and my DH said WoW!  We both thoroughly enjoyed it and served with crusty bread it was the perfect meal.  :D

Curried mince and steamed veggies. DD (12) turn to help wash up tonight. And DD (8) helped me this afternoon. I'm kind of enjoying not having my dishwasher working. The sink is actually cleaner as everything is washed dried and put away. And we are not running out of cutlery and crockery or waiting for the wash cycle to finish. 😃
