Marina I know someone who had to use one and boy did she get around very quickly. You’ll master it in no time I’m sure.

Went out north of the river to Gelato Messina. It is the first store in Perth. We've had it in Melbourne and enjoyed it. It was very nice but is in a dodgy suburb. It was filthy and spooky.
This morning I went for my 6 monthly diabetes check. All good with the blood sugar but I have put on 3 kg which isn't so good. I keep tasting the things I cook when I shouldn't. Fortunately no medication for the diabetes still.

Very well done Cookie.
Today the blind company are coming to install the blinds for my garden room. I probably won’t get the full benefit of these until next Summer..

The blinds will be waiting for the first sunny day Chookie.
DD and I had lunch out. One of our favourite sushi restaurants. Not fancy but delicious.

I’m feeling cross at myself. I have used Snap recipes for many, many years and have put heaps of favourites on there. I can’t access it anymore. On checking I think it has all gone ‘belly up.’  DD had a look and can’t help. 😢😢😢😢😢😢 if by any chance I can access it again I will photograph every favourite and print it off.

Cookie, I had a similar situation with Pepperplate, except they were looking to get me to subscribe.  Luckily I had a chance to get on it and get my recipes off so I didn't lose anything.

Off to hospital in a couple of hours.  I spoke to my anesthetist yesterday (funnily enough, like our surgeon, he is a customer of ours and he commented that he had noticed me limping last time he was in the shop!), anyway, he said the operation could be 2 hours, maybe longer, and offered me the consolation that he would send me to sleep then when I woke up I would be cold, hungry and sore!  Such an encouraging young man ... not  :-\  Actually, I have been stressing and anxious about the procedure the last couple of days, but he is a lovely guy with a good "bedside manner", and I actually relaxed as we chatted on the phone.  I am sure he will take very good care of me.

Best of luck Marina you will be fine . Doing all the exercises when ready and maybe even hydrotherapy might help . Enjoy the rest time too.
Yesterday I had yoga class . DH can home late and I had snuck into bed early ( night before I was awake in the middle of night for a few hours!) had to layer clothes on and drive him out to get Ute for our worker who was seeding! It was very fresh , cold.

Cookie, I also lost snap on iPad, but it was still on my phone. I think that when you do an upgrade, that’s when it happens.
I also can’t post photos again. Very frustrating.
Marina, best wishes for op. Sounds like you are in good hands. When you have time, let us know how you are going.
Builder were here from 8 to 6 to install the blinds for my garden room. I fed them as it was bitterly cold with a strong south wind. Scones, jam and cream for morning tea. Cottage pie for lunch with Rum and Raisin Banana cake to follow. I sent the boss home with a chicken pie as he was running late.

Today I’ve had my hair cut, I’m going out to lunch with my Melbourne family then later this afternoon a dentist appt to replace a filling that mysteriously disappeared earlier this week.

Good report cookie, every cook tastes the food they’re making so you must do more than the average person to put 3 kgs on. Maybe only use a teaspoon now to see if that stops the weight gain.

Good luck with the op Marina, that’s amazing that both gentlemen are customers of yours. Are you happy with your blinds Chookie? The workers would have enjoyed the meal you have them.

K Atie I wouldn't fancy getting out of bed during the night but a farmer’s wife knows what she’s getting herself into I guess.

All the best Marina. If your anaesthetist has a sense of humour he will be wonderful. It will be all over by now, so I hope things are going well.

I did my grocery shopping this morning. I was rather shocked to find red capsicums at $16.90 /kg (I didn’t buy any) and even carrots at $2.40/kg. They were $1 last week and before. I guess a lot of fresh food depends on the weather.
