Morning all.
Looking forward to another nice day.  Yesterday was a frost.
Obbie, do you use your Kitchen Aide machine to make bread?  Lady at local kitchen shop said it wouldn’t stand up to the kneading.

Good morning folks. Off to have my flu shot this morning. Waiting for some predicted rain to arrive, hopefully we will get some of it this time.

Good morning everyone.  Cold here overnight but nice and sunny now

Chookie, I don't have a Kitchen Aide machine but do have a Kenwood mixer and I think they are fairly similar.  I made lots of bread in that before getting my tmx without any problems.

Judy how did you manage a flu shot on Sunday? Was it your GP who did a clinic for them? We are having ours tomorrow.
Margaret I used to use my Kenwood many years ago too. Although I have seen on a couple of sour dough blogs where people have burned out their Kitchenaid.

Yes cookie, as there was some delay with supply between this session and the first one my doctor and his wife opened the clinic today just to administer this batch.  I had my first reaction to a flu shot today with quite a lump coming up. It seems to be settling down now though.

Judy, I always seem to get a big red lump.  Lasts a couple of days then goes.
Thanks for the info about the Kitchenaide.  Just interested, not intending to buy one.
I have been making SD bread by hand.   Getting prepared for the workshops.  Interesting.  The texture is quite different to the dough I make in the TMX. The result is similar.

That is good of them Judy.  Chookie I usually get a big red lump for a few days too. DD’s work got theirs the other day. Quite a few of them felt “off” for a couple of days this year.

Good morning everyone.  A cool morning with the sun trying to come through.

We had our flu shots about a month ago.

Hi, ACW... I use my thermie for bread and doughs. I usually use my kitchenaid for large xmas cakes, or pavlovas.
