When I make burgers for my DH, he doesn't handle them very well (although he loves them) - the filling all falls out the bottom as he eats it. :-))

Did a conversion of one of those Symple recipes - Sweet and Spicy Lamb. I think I cooked the meat too long (could have used a cheaper cut and cooked longer though I guess) and it looked bad because it used evaporated milk which curdled. The taste was OK but I think I will need to try it again before posting the conversion.

Add a bit of cornflour to the evaporated milk next time Kerryn - that should prevent it curdling.  She has some nice, healthy recipes and they always go down well on the forum for people watching their calorie intake.

JD it already had cornflour, perhaps not quite enough? I was thinking that next time I would swap the coconut evaporated milk out for real coconut milk but I know it won't have the same allure to the calorie conscious. I will give it another go though. It reminded me a bit of our curried sausages which I can't happily eat anymore, but is one of the kids favourites, so this might be a good replacement.

when i think that is going to happen i wrap the bottom with a napkin, foil,or baking papper. it does help JD

Those rolls look Devine Uni.
DH came home yesterday afternoon and took us out to dinner. We went to the local pub which my brother now manages. The new chef did a good job. I had chicken Parma  and it was delicious. They had a Dj starting at 8pm and DS had a great time bopping along.
