We just had a dinner of salad and the fish DH & miss7 caught at the beach today....yum!  :D

Susanne, I was really happy with the way the chicken cooked in the deep fryer but the Chios weren't so good, I think I may have overfilled the basket. We got the DeLonghi roto fry which uses only 1 litre of oil. DD isn't happy with it and prefers our old DeLonghi which had the traditional basket.

Unfortunately while waiting for me to get off a work call DS and his mate must have snuck off to McDonalds and they ate virtually no dinner  >:(, this is the second time DS and his mates have done that after I've prepared a meal that I specifically thought they would eat. I'll be talking to him once the friend leaves. I was not happy and we now gave a lot of leftover fried chicken.

Thanks wonder, not good about ds and his friend I wouldn't be happy either.
tonight I'm going to try the creamy chicken linguini out of alyces new book the picture looks yummy and it serves 5 which is usually unheard of in recipes
