« on: June 07, 2009, 07:35:01 pm »
500g water
280g GF flour (Schar Mix b)
1 teaspoon GF baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
500g oil to fry

Weigh out flour into a bowl and mix in the baking powder, put aside.
place water in  *: and program 4 mins Temp Varoma, speed 1
Add flour all at once and quickly mix altogether 15 seconds speed 6. Leave to stand 5 minutes. Pipe out thickly onto tray and can be frozen to use as you wish. Be careful when frying as they do spit a bit! ;) Use deep fat fryer or deep pan with a lid! And sprinkle with lots and lots of sugar!!! And dip in your hot chocolate! Mmmmmmmmmm!

Can someone tell me if these GF baking recipes can be used using normal flour for those of us who don't have gluten problems? e.g. this one, would it be plain or SR flour?

JD - certainly can be made with normal flour -plain and the add baking powder, or use SR flour.

Sound delish - a bit of cinnamon too for those who like it - yummo - where's the chocolate??
