I don't know what "party" means at your age either Mich, but I bet its a lot more sophisticated and dignified than all the young people out there today :-)) ;D

Cruise ships have discos so you could always pop your head in there Michele.  Can't say that we have for years now but on our first cruise the disco was held at the back of the ship on an open deck and not in a closed room. We were the oldest passengers there by far, around 50 at the time.  We just sat back watching the young ones, next minute a couple of girls grabbed DH's wheelchair and took him off into the centre of the group who were all milling around watching someone dancing  - I was left on the outer but it didn't worry me, the music was great.  In the early days the young girls always took to Geoff which was great to see.

We took delivery of our Rav4 today.Just in time for the forthcoming winter weather ;D

Those cars are particularly good for shopping.....as the spare tyre sits on the outside of the car, there is a secret storage compartment under the 'boot' where a spare would usually be.....it's been very handy iykwim  ;)
They don't have the spare wheel on the back anymore Jamberie.Instead there is a canister of foam that you pump into the flat tyre. When you have the tyre mended it's just washed out.The drawback is that you can only do a maximum speed of 60kms with the inflated tyre.

Yes a nice colour CC, not as dark as you described it.

A lot of cars have no spare wheel these days apparently.  I just presumed we had a spare but had never looked.  I just drive a car - I've never even lifted the bonnet.  One day some-one asked me if I had a spare wheel and when I found out that this may not be necessarily so, I had to go and have a look.  Yes the Corolla does have one.

Thanks girls. We are very pleased with it.
We didn't have a spare wheel on our old car.Just the foam to use if we had a flat tyre. You are lucky Judy,I like the idea of idea of having a spare.Of course DH said that it's wasting money carrying around a tyre that's hardly used. :-))

Lovely car CC congratulations. Rav4's were once advertised with a camel poking his head out the sunroof. Did yours come with a camel?? ;)

Funeral today. Never good to go too but even worse in 37c heat. Sad but lovely service. The things you learn about people you know. :)
