Broccoli, Celery and Apple Salad
From the the U.K. Thermomix Recipe website

We like this salad.I do change the ingredients a little, I use 50g raisins, 50g toasted hazelnuts + 50g toasted sunflower seeds and leave out the sultanas (affectionately known as slugs in our house)I  add mayonnaise to suit our taste.I do seems to have these ingredients knocking around in the bottom of my fridge so I make it quite often.

Jo this looks like another winning recipe that I will keep in mind for the winter. It's 31 degrees C here today so it's salad and ice cream time.

Thanks for the tip about the carpet stain remover, DH sometimes brings the garden in with him. I have good results with the ecozone stain remover for my laundry.I love all recommendations by anyone.Have you tried the silicone pods to poach eggs in the steamer basket in the TM?They work well but you have to make sure they are well greased.

Mangetout has had her machine for 25 years, so by that standard we have at least another 20 years to go!! I would hate to think Vorwerk has lost its good name.I am really interested to hear whether your machine is back safe and sound and up and running like it should be.

I made quirkycooking's fried rice, as I had various vegetables to use up and a friend had given me some of her lovely hens eggs.I halved Jo's recipe for the two of us and I have some tasty leftovers for tomorrow.

Caroline I can vouch for the cherry and almond cake it is delicious but as Mali says it does make a lot.A friend went away with the recipe after having a piece.

We're all nervous when we first start using the TM especially using the Varoma. It will become second nature soon and you will laugh at yourself at being so scared.I bet the meatballs were great.

I'm so sorry to hear that your faith in the TM is waning.Customer service in Australia seems very poor compared to here in the U.K.Have you thought of finding out who is the CEO of Vorwerk Thermomix in Australia and going straight to the top with your grievances? The other route is to e-mail Vorwerk head office in Germany and stir things up!I do hope you get answers soon.
