I was thinking about trying this for dinner tonight (second time using the TM) and was wondering if this recipe would be suitable to steam some broccoli in the veroma at the same time?  I think the chicken takes about 17 mins could I put the broccoli on at the same time or wouldnt it cook properly?

any help would be appreciated  ;D

I have a similar problem with my Acer tablet I just bought.  I can log in no problem with my laptop but with the tablet when I click on the login button it lights up orange but doesnt do anything else.  Very strange and annoying as I am trying to get used to the tablet - I bought it solely to use on my kitchen benchtop for recipes etc  ;D

I did do exactly what the recipe said so if it was too hot I dont know - it said varoma temp which I did.  I also put a little extra wine in so there was a bit more liquid than stated (heavy handed and I couldnt take it back out lol).

The tip with the bicarb sounds good I will try that next time.  Hmmm what to try today  ;D

Thanks all

Suggestions and Complaints / Food sticking to bottom of jug?
« on: November 12, 2011, 09:22:28 am »
I just got my TM yesterday and decided to make the Vegie concentrate today.  All went fine except some of it has stuck fast to the bottom of the jug.  I have soaked it and scrubbed it for hours and cant get it off.

Surely this doesnt happen every time you cook in it?

Any help would be appreciated  :D

well its finished now (although I forgot the bay leaf) and the stock seems ok although pretty salty.

However it has stuck to the bottom of the jug and I cant get it off!!  Its not burnt just stuck.  Its been soaking for 2 hours and I have been scrubbing it every 20 mins.

Not happy if this is what happens every time you cook with it  :(

Ok will give it a whirl with the celery.  Ummm I should have also mentioned (just reread the ingredients) that hubby hates mushrooms as well.  Is this the same as the celery - you wont even taste it?

thanks all

We dont like celery and I dont have any - would it still work ok without it or could I use something else?

thanks

Hya Judy.... thanks for your response.  I dont think I am getting a deliverydemo as the consultant asked me if I wanted it delivered directly to me at home and I said yes.

Iam sure its trial and error so if I do what you said and read everything twice hopefully I should be ok.  Cant wait to get it!

HI there I am new to the forum and have ordered a TM which should be here at the end of the week.

I thought this recipe looked delicious and wondered if it would be easy enough for my first go at the TM.

Any thoughts would be appreciated  ;D
