Tikka paste, Jo's chicken sausage rolls, plum jam and blueberry slice.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Ooh Nik nice to know been meaning to try a new curry from the book and now I don't have to choose, will give it a go one night when the girls have already eaten, maybe next weekend.

Today I made bread rolls, bread loaf, donuts (Isi's recipe), fettucine and tomato pasta sauce (for the girls, dh and I are having bbq steak and vegetables).

Having a dough day today - bread and tea cake dough.

Dinner this evening is roast chicken - might try and do some yorkshire puds - batter will of course be made in the TMX.  The whole family are mad on Yorkshires!  Wonder what the batter would be like frozen in ice cube trays and used from the freezer plonked in a hot tin .... ?

Having a cleanout of the fridge and freezer (left-overs) this week.  Today's lunch made Noodle & Cheese Slice http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=3526.0 but added some Christmas ham and 100g very ripe tomatoes. Served it with JulieO's garlic bread http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=4739.0 and salad.

That looks delicious Judy.
I've just made some plum jam. Dropped the basket as I was finishing and had little sprinkles of plum jam every where. I hate that, it takes so long to stop it being sticky. At least the floor gets washed numerous times. :-))

My 9 year old son made dirt puddings (yummo!) and I am looking forward to making apricot chicken with some apricot sauce (should have been jam) that I made yesterday.

My eldest son had a friend over today and I made chookies KFC again but used drumsticks instead of fillets. I made coleslaw and reheated the garlicky bread plait which I cooked yesterday. Also made mango smoothies and salted caramel maple ice cream but cut down on the salt this time as most people in the family complained!! Mind you, it has disappeared so can't have been that salty, hey?

made more bread dough today - its proving slowly as we speak.  I think my yeast is near the end of its life span.  Its also cold here and as the UK govt have put VAT up I'm determined to give them as little money as possible so I've turned my heating down.  The two combined contributes to a very slow (but tasty) rising process!

Going to have a go at making a sponge cake in the TMX later.  Not done that before but I have some chocolate spread that could do with using up ...

We've got an abundance of eggs at the moment so the children's tea is eggy bread (one of their favourites) and mine will be a veg casserole from the freezer.
