TM Parts???
« on: June 21, 2012, 02:06:38 am »
Morning all,
I just had a call from my little bro asking if there was anywhere you can get parts for the TM31. I asked why. He said he had mum's TM for the last week while Dad and Mum were away, and he got cold so turned his stove top elements on to warm up the kitchen, (his heat pump was not coping or something) ... anyhow, Mum's TM was about a foot away from the elements but the grey piece on the right hand side did not appreciate the heat and went a bit wrinkly etc. TM still works fine and Mum was fine about it too, but understandably he feels pretty bad about the whole situation.
Any clues, anyone??
TIA  :)
:D

Poor DB and what an understanding Mum you have astarra.  Apart from buying a whole new casing for the bowl to sit in (whatever that is called) I would be very suprised if you could just replace the bit you described.  The whole unit would be very costly indeed but maybe one of our consultants can give you the answer to that question or you could ring HO toll free 1800004838 for an answer.
I'm glad to hear it hasn't stopped the TMX from working.

Wow 8 kids. No wonder she is patient. She was very brave to lend him the TMX in the first place. It must have been love.

How did you get on with that part you needed astarra?  Did you contact H.O.?
