CP yes that is my dinner plate underneath

I agree, it is nice to have a nice meal at home and not have to drive home afterwards. Even if you did have to pay the bill yourself!
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

last night DD and I had quirky Jo's chicken fajitas....we love it!





Hubby had pizza down at the fire station, and DS had sultana bran  :-))

tonight I'll whip up something with a pack of gnocchi
.........EAT CAKE!

We're supposed to be getting our Woolies delivery between 4-7pm. So I guess what we have for dinner depends how late they are :-))

Mexican Rice Pie with salsa and sour cream. It was a bit bland and had to put a liberal splash of sweet chilly sauce over it. The salsa was nice.

We had fillet steaks, baked potatoes and a side from Yotam Ottolenghi

Roast butternut squash, red onion, tahini and Za'atar.

Hamburgers in buns with the lot and oven fries.
Got home later than expected so it changed too warm chicken and chorizo pasta.
Lovely Maddy, that's been on my to do list for awhile now. Must do it soon.

Lovely Maddy, that's been on my to do list for awhile now. Must do it soon.

You must....It's yummy  :)  I use 3 chicken breasts, but keep sauce/marinade quantity the same.


a quick chorizo gnocchi bake tonight with cucumber salad





Had lots of homegrown tomatoes & cucumbers from my Dads garden to use up.

Friday night drinks at the neighbour's for the first time in ages. I took deedub's raw carrot dip and Judy' s corn and green onion dip. It was a relaxing evening helped by the Sallinger bubbles and the Geisen savvy. :) the dips were yummy too.
