Ha, thanks  CC, neck not too bad due to physio, but sciatica has reared its ugly head again which = strong pain killers = me being zombie.  I had hoped to get all the recipes in the 3 Spanish books translated by Easter, but no such luck.  Crap weather doesn't help either ...  I also want to have the time to actually make some of the recipes as well.. Refused to take pain killers today, hence on a roll!

Julia, have you gone to a remedial massage therapist for your sciatica, It usually works in one treatment.
Very easy to treat.

Sending hugs.

Hi Robyn, when I had a very bad bout of it a couple of years ago I went to a local McTimoney chiropractor and they did wonders, although it took five visits and had to walk across a snowy field to get there.  Unfortunately they have now moved out to some barn in the sticks and have no way of getting there.

What I am getting now is nowhere near as bad as before and is gradually getting better, so taking less medication.  Thanks for your concern  ;D

Well it's good to hear it is not as bad as it used to be JB - don't push yourself with the translations, slowly does it if you are not feeling the best.  It does help to take your mind off it by doing something though doesn't it  ;)

Thanks JD, it certainly is much better, but sciatica or no sciatica, I cannot loll around doing nothing, plus I forget my Spanish if I don't keep reading.  Even when we had our two weeks of summer last month, I sat out in the garden revising Spanish grammar.  The next recipe I am going add, I shall actually try and make today  :)

LOL Robyn and I think that if I flew over to Australia for treatment, my sciatica would get worse sitting on a plane for that length of time.  Always vowed that if I were ever to go down under it would be by boat.  Might take a lot longer but at least you can walk around  ;D

Rolling around on a cricket ball helps to relieve the build up of pressure, on the floor, as do stretches.

Hope this helps.

JD, quite easy..... :D

Lie on a hard floor with the cricket ball at the pressure point for sciatica in your butt.
It does help.

Sorry JD, Crazy but it helps relieve the pressure.
By the way, I am a remedial massage therapist too.
