JulieO - I am so glad you post photos of the recipes you make and take the time to present your food so beautifully!

They always look so inviting!

Do you take your photos outdoors as it looks like your food is taken in natural light and also the table appears to be an outdoor table?

Yes I did Frozzie. When I set the oven at 160 the thermometer read around 175-180. At least I have a better idea now.

I feel the same way about sausages maddy and stand for ages looking at all the varieties available.  One look at the fat content is enough to make me move on but when DH orders sausages and mash for lunch at a hotel, you realise he loves his sausages and you must cook them more often.  Who goes out to eat sausages, I want something I don't cook much at home when I eat out ???  Having said that, your meal does look tasty.

Maddy your sausages look great, they dont look like sausages.

Sausages, not  a fan either. Kids love them!!!

When we have a bbq I often throw a few on and they always get eaten. DS loves sausage sandwiches for his school lunches.

I dont mind a spicy sausage & I love chorizio.

Hally, as soon as I see a recipe has chorizo in it, I move on :-))  What is it about this sausage that makes it so popular, is there much fat in it, eg when you cut it after being cooked, are there blobs of fat or is it nice and smooth tasting and looking.

My fav way is to slice  it thinly, bbq couple of minutes, serve up with lime wedges squeezed over.

I think its the spicyness/ hotness, its just yum.

I had an entree at the rockpool with it, loved it :P

Sorry Tasty I've just seen your post.   Thankyou for your comments  :D

Yes I try and take them outdoors when I can, easy enough during the warmer months, but in winter I do them inside under lights.

I have a wrought iron table on the front porch that I use.  My DH put together a few wooden tops in a rustic fashion that I place on top of the table, I tend to use the cream one the most though.   ;D

Delicious looking dinner Maddy.  :D

Judy if I'm using chorizo (which isn't often) I put it in a non stick frypan and cook it up to lose some of the fat. Possibly losing some flavour but too bad.

I've found a butcher near us who makes the most beautiful barbecue sausages. We hadn't had them for at least a year or two, now we have them once a month.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.
