Did some cooking for a friend today. Turkey roast, pork schnitzel, sweet chilli wings and heaps of different veggies. 9 packs for his freezer.

Judy, lots of variety there.
Another lot of Marmalade. I make it in the TMX. Very little effort and makes 3 or 4 medium jars.

Yesterday I made  Christmas pudding number 2.

Today I have some silverside in the SC, I made some vegetable filo rolls and two rhubarb and apple pies.  One pie is for DIL father who loves anything with rhubarb in it. He is undergoing cancer treatment at the moment and not feeling the best.

Another Christmas pudding, this is No. 3.  I've also been asked by another family member if I would make one for them.  It's about time they they started making them as they all have the recipe.

Yesterday I made some of Chookie's Oat Crisps then some Simple Sugar Cookies from a vegan site.

A couple of weeks ago I cooked Miso eggplant. Yesterday I used the same Miso sauce with mushrooms.  I made some to go on a platter to take to friends 80th party. I’ve stuck a toothpick in each tiny mushroom. Very easy and different.

Will make Garlic Bread, an essential part of the meal.

I made some biscuits using a choc chip recipe without the choc chips and put a Hershey Kiss chocolate on the top. DH called them booby biscuits!

Ha Cookie.
Yesterday I made 40 large sausage rolls. GS and 4 mates are coming to lift my very large and very heavy antique iron table, over the fence. The table and chairs are going to be powder coated. I’m also making Portuguese Custard tarts for them. They are giving up their lunchtime to do this.
Yesterday I also made some Strawberry Jam. Tastes ok, but I don’t think the strawberries have as much flavour as the Summer ones.

I’ve made this salt substitute for a friend https://bakeatmidnite.com/mrs-dash-seasoning-copycat/
I couldn’t find savoury and mace in Drakes so it is without those 2 ingredients, I only used 1 tsp cayenne.

Also made these sausages with no added salt (used pork and veal mince) https://www.taste.com.au/recipes/pork-apple-sausages-pepita-coleslaw/4d943b8c-737f-41e8-8d36-8db784399dfc

About to make this Shiitake mushroom sauce https://www.cottagesmallholder.com/shitake-mushroom-and-cream-sauce-recipe-6576/

I imagine a teaspoon of cayenne would be pretty potent Judy.

The Filo Asparagus and cheese rolls were a great success. GD and friend came for lunch and both loved them.
I need more biscuits to fill the tin. Might fall back on Anzacs with Macadamias, old favourite. Making Blood Orange Marmalade for a friend.
