Will do Robyn.

I find just having extras for dinner and making something different boosts the supermarket bill.

I agree. If we have a family get together and it's just immediate family then there is 5 children with their spouses/partners. DH and I + mum. It never ends there if we pick mum up, we pick the Aunties up. The only thing is, it is hard to get all the kids free at the same time. A simple bbq lunch can be expensive.

Michelle, thats why we have 3 freezers, and buy in bulk..... :) it does get expensive otherwise.

I prepared two loaves of SD Wholemeal bread to sit in the fridge and prove.

The Multigrain loaf that I made yesterday is tasty. However I cooked it in too large a tin, and let it rise too much, so no photos as it is ugly!  Next time I hope it looks better.

This morning I cleaned out my fridge and made a chicken and vegetable quiche with some sad looking vegetables and half a roast chicken.  Then boiled up the chicken carcass for stock.  The birds are now picking over the bones.
