Tonight is Beef Stroganoff with Tenina's Cheese and jalapeņo bread. Probably throw a few veggies in to calm the health daughter who has to have her veggies.

Made mums meat slice and served with pumpkin wattleseed bread. Very yummy.

As well as Ottolenghi's Hot and Sour Chicken (which was OK but I probably overcooked it) I also make his Roasted Butternut Squash with Cardamon & Nigella Seeds for dinner.  This dish was a big hit.  Soooo much flavour.

I did all the pre-oven cooking in Thermie so if I can remember what I did I might post the recipe.

had a delicious salad in a restaurant last week so re created it with a slight change. It is so simple to make!

Here is it with photo
rocket with Caramelized pumpkin, pinenut, pear and goats cheese with raspberry vincotte.   The one I had in restaurant did not have pear but I had a pear I needed to use up. 

I served this with warm buttermilk bread from EDC drizzled with EVOO and topped with sundried tomato pesto.

I don't have any, tis one of my failings. The missus bemoans my pessimism.

Today's cooking so far, which I kind of failed again to photograph till after I'd eating, was Bretzels, laugenstangen (Bretzel rolls), laugenkastanien (bretzel bites) with cheese, poppy seeds and plain. No sesame as I forgot to buy some yesterday.
