i made the classic lemon tart today
« on: August 02, 2011, 01:34:20 pm »
Well i'm a bit of a chicken and haven't been real brave with the TM, but I must say going to the cooking classes has been great. Today i made the lemon tart, however I wasn't sure with the lemon quantity so I did what I thought and it worked. The butter chicken is also fantastic, normally I would have just opened a jar. I'll get my boys to choose the next experiment and see how it goes..

It's all a matter of experimenting:  we gain confidence as we go  :)
Have fun cooking with your boys.  Mine love using the TMX!

Congratulations, Karen!  Keep trying, I'm sure as you gain confidence you will find, as many of us have, that the TMX makes cooking beautiful food easy!  Keep up the good work!

Small steps at a time Karen and before you know it, you will have all the confidence in the world to try anything. Did you do the butter chicken recipe out of the Everyday Cookbook or this one from the Fast & Easy Indian Cooking?  The latter is by far the better recipe.
