I enjoy baking too Robyn. It keeps me calm and it's much better on my hips if I give it away! It's our Father's Day stall at school tomorrow, which I run for the students so that they can buy a small gift for their dads. We have about 30 different gifts per class to choose from. I have made Caramel slice, malt slice and mini cinnamon scrolls for us Mum's to munch on during the day.  Forgot to take a photo, will do that tomorrow.  The caramel slice recipe is delicious

What sets it apart from all the others is that you make the condensed milk from scratch (no can) at the same time as you are making the caramel. Too easy and too yummy. Just need to make sure the slice tin is a deep one. Photos coming.

Lovely cooking Astarra, I wish I had your energy :)
Kimmy, the caramel slice sounds really good, I used to enjoy a caramel slice at the cafe near work but found it very sweet..

Astarra, it is lovely to bake and have lots to eat and enjoy your cooking.
Kim, I know about the cooking being a good relaxing activity. Also good to give it away.
I am going to try making Aquafaba "butter" today. It is made with Aquafaba, coconut oil and canola oil.

Made the Aquafaba, " butter", looks good but tastes awful.  But then I am a butter freak.

Those crumpets look good chookie. Shame about the butter.
I'm slowly getting my cooking mojo back. I made the chicken and cheese casserole that either JD or CC shared so easy to make. I made the mushroom condensed soup as well, DD loved the soup, I sent her home with. I've also made a few recipes off the slow cooker site that someone shared here. Our favourite so far is the Thai beef cheeks. Going to try a few recipes from the new skinnymixers Mexican cook book at the weekend.
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

Good to see you posting Jenny, so many recipes, so little time and so few mouths to feed.
