Cook book question
« on: May 11, 2012, 10:04:56 pm »
Hi from the uk.

Is the fast and easy UK standard issue Thermy cookbook the same as the Aussie EDC one?

I have seen mention of beet root salad in the forum but I don't think it is in my book?

Thx in advance

No, not the same - and I think worth having both. But I am an Australian in UK so I wanted Australian recipes like Anzac biscuits.  There are a lot of the same recipes - but different methods etc. I think on the whole UK one better. Hope that helps.

Yes, I agree with bickie about the UK book.  More recipes in that one.  I will send you the beetroot salad recipes though as it is a beauty.

I'm not sure if UK Thermomix will still post these books to Australia or not grapesy but here's a contact page for them if you want to email and ask.

Yes, I agree with the last two postings, but after enquiring at the UK office online, I decided not to order it - OUCH - the postage made me patient, shall we say?  I love our Thermomix recipe books and have more than enough already, but that doesn't stop me champing at the bit for Monday's launch of Devil of a Cookbook.  And I also love trying the unpublished recipes on my two favourite Thermomix forums.  Hallex has said it already - so many enticing recipes, only so much food we can eat.
